Terms of Service
1. What Daleel is
Daleel provides Sharia compliance screening calculations for publicly listed securities, derived from public SEC filings and market data, evaluated against published methodologies (AAOIFI, DJIM, MSCI, S&P). Access is provided via this website and a REST API.
2. What Daleel is not
- Not a religious ruling. Verdicts are quantitative methodology calculations. They are not fatwas and do not substitute for the guidance of a qualified scholar.
- Not investment advice. Nothing on this service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. We are not an investment adviser and provide only impersonal, non-individualized information.
- Not a guarantee of accuracy. Data derives from third-party sources (SEC EDGAR, market data providers) and from disclosed estimates. It may contain errors or lag corporate events. Responses disclose approximations in-line.
3. Acceptable use
API keys are per-organization and may not be shared or resold. Rate limits per tier are enforced. Bulk redistribution of Daleel responses as a competing dataset requires a Compliance-tier agreement.
4. Subscriptions
Paid tiers are billed monthly and cancellable at any time; access continues to the end of the billing period. Founding-partner pricing is locked for the life of continuous subscription.
5. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daleel's aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim. We are not liable for investment outcomes, missed purification, or decisions taken on screening results.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced to API key holders by email at least 14 days in advance.
